1949 Inn

 

In 1949 neither Louise nor Adam Heigis would ever have guessed they would end up in the restaurant business. But when health problems dictated that Adam needed to retire, these two Bergen County residents looked to family ties in Sussex County. News of a little restaurant for sale in Walpack seemed like the perfect solution. Voila! Lousie brought her great cooking skills and Adam his expertise at the bar (more often on the other side of it!). read more here….

Regular Dinner Hours

Discover the Walpack: the brown bread, salad bar, prime rib, fresh seafood, oysters, teriyaki steak, and of course the view of the deer just outside the windows!

Friday 5PM – 10PM

Saturday 4PM – 10PM

Sunday 1PM – 8PM

The bar opens at 5pm on Friday, 4pm on Saturday and 12pm on Sunday. We seat until 10pm on Friday and Saturday, and until 8pm on Sunday. We accept reservations for parties of 6 or more.
